The rising demand for healthcare services and the increasing scarcity of human and financial resources represent an enormous challenge for the healthcare system.

Thesis topics in this field can cover many different economic and administrative aspects of health care and the healthcare industry, such as: analysis of supply and demand; financing and control mechanisms of care systems; evaluation of services, care structures or alternative care and insurance models; operative and strategic management of care facilities or health insurance; integrated care; health and sustainability management in healthcare facilities; developments in health and/or care economics; health promotion in organizations.
