Public Health

A doctoral degree in public health enables graduates to independently formulate questions and hypotheses in healthcare research; to meaningfully select and combine modern qualitative and quantitative methods; to design, plan and conduct research projects; and to provide healthcare stakeholders with component expert advice. A further focus is on publication in prestigious academic journals and on the professional communication and dissemination of research results to ensure maximum impact.

The programme also integrates students into the international research landscape and offers the opportunity to participate in ongoing top research projects conducted by the nationally and internationally well-connected Department of Public Health, Health Services Researchaund Health Technology Assessment.

The doctoral programme can be completed in German or English.
