Internship for Scholars at IACE

This summer our Institute for Automation and Control Engineering provides an internship for one month organized by DI Phillip Kronthaler. The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) sponsors the internship in the course of which four high school students pursue their interest in natural science and technology. The internship starts with a join discussion and reflection on various applications for mobile robots where the emphasis is put on machine-machine and human-machine-interaction. Afterwards, upon the results of this initial brainstorming, the group will define their particular project goals. During the realization of this project the scholars will learn about different aspects of mobile robotics, e.g., programming and assembling their own robots. As a final highlight, the internship will close with a poster presentation of theoretical and practical results of the project.
