The AQ Austria Quality Seal

The Tyrolean Private University UMIT’s academic degrees are approved by AQ Austria (Agency for Quality Control and Accreditation Austria, formerly Austrian Accreditation Council – ÖAR) and are therefore recognized throughout the whole European Union. The Tyrolean Private University UMIT’s degree programs are awarded the AQ Austria Quality Seal. This quality seal can only be used by accredited private universities. The seal confirms the university’s legal status and its high quality standard, which is being guaranteed by the strict procedural rules and regulations of the accreditation procedure and its conformity with international standards.

Diploma Supplement Label

The Diploma Supplement (DS) ensures maximum transparency of academic achievements. It is one of the key tools of the Bologna Process and supports international comparability of study programs and promotes student mobility. The DS-Label is awarded every three years. The Tyrolean Private University UMIT is the first Austrian private university which is allowed to use the Diploma Supplement Label as a sign of the quality of the university.
